Dip Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken Rotisserie chicken works great for convenience.
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Ensure it is softened for best mixing.
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Or mozzarella for a milder flavor.
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles Optional but recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Stir until smooth and add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Gently fold in the cooked shredded chicken and half of the cheddar cheese.
  • If desired, fold in blue cheese crumbles.
  • Spoon the mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  • Top with remaining cheddar cheese.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • For an extra crispy top, switch to broil for the last 2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.

Serving

  • Let cool slightly before serving.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley.
  • Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetable sticks.

Notes

This dip is best enjoyed warm and fresh out of the oven. For a healthier version, use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese and ranch dressing. It can be made ahead of time; the flavors improve after sitting.
