  • 2 cups All-purpose flour

  • 1 cup Chocolate chips Use your favorite type of chocolate chips.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well incorporated.
  • Gradually add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips gently into the dough.
  • Using a small scoop, portion out the dough into 1.5 tablespoon rounds and place them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden around the edges.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or refrigerate for two weeks. For longer storage, freeze in an airtight container for up to three months.
