  • 6 slices bacon

  • 2 cloves garlic Minced.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Melted for brushing on the bundles.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  • Trim the ends of the fresh green beans and blanch them in boiling water for 3-4 minutes until they turn vibrant green.
  • Drain the beans and let them cool briefly.
  • Take a handful of green beans, about 4-5, and wrap them tightly with a slice of bacon to form bundles.
  • If necessary, secure the bundles with a toothpick.

Assembly and Baking

  • In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in brown sugar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Place the bundles on a baking sheet and brush each generously with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and serve warm.

Notes

These bundles can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking. To store leftovers, cool to room temperature, place in an airtight container, and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
