  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped Use the freshest cilantro for best flavor.
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped Fold into the cilantro.
  • 2-3 green chilies, chopped Adjust amount according to desired spice level.
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced Mince garlic finely.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin Adds warmth to the flavor profile.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom Brings a sweet-spicy flavor.
  • to taste salt Adjust according to preference.
  • 1 lemon, juiced Provide fresh acidity.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your fresh ingredients, including cilantro and parsley.
  • Chop the fresh cilantro until finely minced.
  • Fold in the chopped parsley.
  • Prepare the green chilies by finely chopping them.
  • Mince the garlic.

Mixing

  • In a food processor, combine the chopped cilantro, parsley, green chilies, and minced garlic.
  • Add ground cumin and ground cardamom.
  • Season with salt to taste and squeeze in the lemon juice.
  • Pulse the mixture until finely chopped and well blended.

Serving

  • Serve immediately or store in the fridge for later use.

Notes

If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of water or additional lemon juice. Store tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
