  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk Can substitute with almond milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the topping

  • 1/2 cup sugar For sprinkling on top
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon For sprinkling on top

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans.
  • In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Mix Topping and Bake

  • Divide the batter evenly into the prepared loaf pans.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and ground cinnamon for the topping.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture generously over the batter.
  • Use a knife to create a marbled effect by swirling the cinnamon sugar into the batter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cooling

  • Allow the bread to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Wrap the bread tightly in plastic wrap for storage. You can freeze it for up to three months.
