Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until no pink remains. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning to the skillet, mixing until fragrant.
  • In a pie dish, spread the softened cream cheese to create a base.
  • Pour salsa over the cream cheese.
  • Spoon the seasoned ground beef over the salsa.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes until cheese melts.
  • Remove foil and let cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve warm with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.
