Ingredients
  

For the cookie base

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs Use finely crushed for texture.
  • 0.5 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup melted butter Use fresh butter for best flavor.

For the filling

  • 1 cup mini marshmallows Using mini allows for uniform melting.
  • 1 cup chocolate chips Use quality chocolate for best flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until the mixture resembles damp sand.
  • Firmly press the graham cracker mixture into each section of a muffin pan to create small cups.

Baking

  • Bake them in the oven for 5 to 7 minutes until they are set and slightly golden around the edges.
  • While they’re still warm, sprinkle a few chocolate chips and mini marshmallows into each cup.
  • Return the pan to the oven for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the marshmallows toast to a golden hue.
  • Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes before gently removing them from the pan.

Notes

For a salty contrast, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking. Experiment with different chocolate types for variety. Allowing cookie cups to cool makes them easier to remove.
